About US

My name is Dorothy Burrell, and I am a dual-certified nurse practitioner with expertise in psychiatry and family medicine. South University awarded me a Master of Science in Nursing with honors and a family medicine specialty. I completed my post-master certificate in psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Norwich University. I hold national certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Credentialing Center. I am currently licensed to practice in Oregon and Washington.

I am passionate about providing quality, compassionate, and comprehensive mental health services by diagnosing, treating, and prescribing medication to children, adolescents, and adults. My practice specialties (but not limited to) are ADHD, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, eating disorders, bipolar, and insomnia.

 

I believe in providing patient-focused care by integrating evidence-based guidelines, clinical experience, and personal observation. In addition, I incorporate a collaborative approach between myself and the client through mutual agreement on a plan of action to achieve higher chances of success.
